Chuy's Children Giving to Children Parade

On Saturday, November 25th, the kids and I stopped at Wal-Mart and picked up a few toys to take to the Chuy's Children Giving to Children Parade. Then we headed downtown to find a parking spot and a spot where we could view the parade. We were across the street from the Capitol, on 11th and Congress. The kids really enjoyed it and learned that not every kid has a mother or father that can afford to give them toys. I was so proud to see my kids hand the toys they picked out to the volunteers collecting the toys. Here are a few pictures of the parade that I took with my camera phone.

Halloween 2006

Some of these aren't the greatest (what do you expect from a camera phone?) but the best I could do. Some of these others took with their digital cameras. ENJOY!! And HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

What happens to ya when you've been irradiated too much!

These are the folks in my department. We did the Dia de los Muertos theme.

Gabe painted this and it is hanging in the hallway in my department.

Angie painted this and it is also hanging in the hallway in my department.

This is Mr. Bones. Gabe and I made him. He is peaking out the window.
